Thanks to all of you who turned up and made the Meaford Summer Fest 2024 an incredible success! Despite the very hot Saturday you brought the energy, the smiles, and the good times – and we couldn’t be more grateful. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported our vendors and local small businesses!
We extend our gratitude to the Municipality of Meaford for sponsoring the festival, and the Meaford 150th Birthday Committee for sponsoring the Movie Under The Stars and the Jeep Invasion. A special thank you to Deputy Mayor Shirley Keaveney for her unwavering support, and to Mayor Ross Kentner and Councillors Harley Greenfield, Brandon Forder, and Rob Uhrig for their encouragement.
Our volunteers were indispensable: Darlene from Crystal Dragon for managing the Street Vendors Market both Saturday and Sunday, Rita for managing the Summer Fest T-shirts among other tasks, Viz and Mikael from Tidbits and Helicopter Gallery for managing the website and photos, Sue for her artistic support, Tobias for assisting with the Ball Pit for Beautiful Joe, and Bridget and the crew for planning the entire event. A special thanks to Nisa for her hands-on help throughout the planning and execution stages. Meaford is truly fortunate to have so many incredible people stepping in to help out.
