Poutine Off
Join us at Meaford Summerfest, a vibrant celebration of the season’s best! Nestled in the picturesque town of Meaford, our festival offers a perfect blend of community spirit, exciting activities, and breathtaking scenery. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Poutine-Off Restaurant Competition
Get ready for a culinary showdown at our Poutine-Off restaurant competition! Local chefs will go head-to-head, each putting their unique twist on the classic Canadian dish. Sample a variety of creative poutines and vote for your favorite. It’s a delicious way to celebrate our local food scene and enjoy some friendly competition. Make sure to pack looser clothing!
To participate and vote for your favourite, get your ‘Poutine Passport’!
Starting Tuesday, July 23, our Poutine-Off passports will be available for purchase!

Movie Under the Stars
Come for a free screening of “Back to the Future” on August 2nd at 8pm.
We’ll have a big screen set up at Market Square – also known as the Meaford Hall parking lot. Bring a chair, bring a blanket – and feel free to dress up! This is a fun and friendly family event.

Ok Edna, you haven’t even opened that Insta Pot your grandkids gave you! Canine Watersports
We are beyond thrilled to welcome @caninewatersportscanada to Meaford Summer Fest! Get ready for an action-packed weekend on August 3 & 4, filled with dock jumping competitions right beside the beautiful Georgian Bay, across from Meaford Harbour on Bayfield Street.
Bring your family, friends, and furry companions to join the fun and cheer on these incredible canine athletes! Plus, enjoy all the other fantastic activities, food vendors, and entertainment we have lined up.

Street Dance
On Nelson street just south of Sykes St. there’ll be a street dance featuring the 60’s revisited at Station 87 on their patio. Take over Nelson street for the night and travel back to the 60’s. Starts at 7:30 and ends whenever the time warp is over.
Jeep Festival in the Harbour
Gear up for the Jeep Festival in the harbour, a must-see for automotive enthusiasts.
